baptismal-canidates

Ion and Elena Gireada serve in Tereblecia, Bahranesti, Chernovtsy, Ukraine.  They have been very faithful in their shepherding roles, John pastoring the faith family of his local church and serving fellow ministers in the area, while Elena models the character of a Titus 2 woman before the ladies in their church. Please pray for them as they continue to wait on the Lord for a child.  This past month, Jon baptized two converts.  In his report, he writes:

Before and after the church services, I had catechesis (biblical instruction) lessons with two new converts. On August 12th, a 23-year-old brother and a 45-year-old sister were baptized. We praise the Lord for these two new people that have been added to the local church. The sister that was baptized had had two heart attacks, but the Lord kept her alive so that she would repent and confess her faith in the Lord. Her grandmother used to be an evangelical Christian. Over 10 unsaved people attended the baptism service where they were able to hear the Gospel message.
