This week the HeartCry staff was reminded that life is
“a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away”
James 4:14
We received two reports concerning the deaths of two young men. One brother died a martyr’s death in Asia from a terrorist attack aimed at believers as they were assembling for worship.
Also, in a different country in Asia, Pastor San (pictured in article) passed this world into the presence of Christ His Savior from complications following an appendectomy. Pastor San assisted in the recent translation of The Gospel’s Power and Message into Lahu, one of the few sound books in the Lahu language. Mr. San was 33 years old and left behind a grieving wife with three young children and sorrowful parishioners, of whom he faithfully served.
Though many hearts are heavy over the deaths of these young men, we rejoice for them as they have entered into their heavenly inheritance. Please pray for the families and churches as their tears glisten in light of the resurrection (1 Thess. 4:13-18).
