Missionary Marian Nae serves as pastor of the Gypsy congregation in Glin, Romania (pictured above).  His sincerity has been very impactful in the community where he serves.

Recent health issues put him in the hospital where he received specialized treatment. While recovering, the Lord used Him toward the furtherance of the gospel.  He reports in his update this month.

By God’s grace, I was able to tell about the miracle that the Lord did in my life. After God healed me, I was able to visit other patients in the hospital and tell them about His kindness and love for me. I shared the Gospel with Marian and He accepted the Lord as his personal Savior. Then he shared with the patients in his room about the way in which God had touched me. He asked them if they wanted me to come and pray for them. So I had the grace to share the Gospel with them and they were amazed to hear what God had done in my life. There was a patient that had the same health problem that I had. I told him about the miracle that God had done for me and about God’s goodness. Then I prayed for this man and he started crying. Later, he told me that nobody had ever prayed for him like that. I told him to come to God in faith and repentance. Please pray for this man. His name is Alexandru and he is 60 years old.

There were also two other people that needed prayer. One of them was Nicolae (62) who had cirrhosis. He allowed me to pray for him. I asked the Lord to touch his heart and to help him repent and believe in Him. Then I went to a 49-year-old man who had cancer in the last stage and the doctors gave him no chance to survive. I asked him for permission to pray for him, but he was reticent. I insisted to pray for him and did, asking the Lord to have mercy on him. I did this without knowing that those were his last minutes in this world. God gave him the chance to turn to Him just before his death, but he refused it. In the morning I found out that he had died. I was so moved because God allowed me to go to that man’s room that night and share from the Word of God. He had the chance to turn to God, but he refused. I realized that he was going to be condemned for refusing to turn to God in the last moment.

So, the next morning, Marian and his roommates asked me to pray for them, as they became afraid. I prayed for them and told them to stay calm, as everything is under God’s control. One week after the doctors saw that miracle that God had done for me, they let me go home. I had been hospitalized for one month. I could hardly wait to get home to see my family. When I entered the gate, I started crying, realizing that God had had so much mercy for me. He allowed me to come back to my family.

Please pray for my hospital roommates that God would search them and help them repent. Returning home, I told everybody about what God had done in my life. I went to the drugstore to buy my medicine and shared my story with the pharmacist. As she was listening to me while giving me the change, she gave me more than she should have. I realized that was a temptation from the evil one. I told the pharmacist that I was a believer and gave her back the money. She was amazed and didn’t know what to say. Wherever I go, I can’t keep silent.  I must ell everybody what the Lord has done for me. People are amazed when they hear my story.
