Brother Danut and his wife, Lydia, would appreciate prayer that they might have a baby. They have waited on the Lord for the past few years in their desire to conceive. Also, Danut is having some problems with his throat that he has asked us to pray about. He shares his ministry endeavors this past month:
I did street evangelism several times this month. I passed out Gospel tracts and invitations to an evangelistic service.
I participated to an evangelistic outreach in Bucharest, along with other HeartCry missionaries. We passed out many Gospel tracts and shared the Gospel with the people we met in the park. We also passed out invitations to an evangelistic event that took place the following day in Adonai Church where brother Costel Ghioanca is serving the Lord. God gave me the idea to stay in a place where there were many people passing by and I was so glad to see that many of them accepted the Gospel tracts that I offered.
I also talked to some of the people I met there. The best discussion I had was with a group of teenagers. They were open to listen to me as I shared the Gospel with them. I also asked them questions in order to see if they understood what I had explained to them. I was glad that they understood the problem of sin and could be forgiven through the Lord’s sacrifice.
In my mission area, I talked to the people I met on the street and also visited at home an individual that is willing to follow the Lord. Moreover, I preached the Gospel at a believer’s funeral, which was attended by many non-Christian relatives and neighbors.
With God’s help, we kept meeting every Friday for worship, Bible study and prayer. We studied the Bible passages that we preach the previous Sunday night. This way, we are reminded of the Lord’s Word and make applications to our lives. I was asked to preach this month more than usual and sought to be guided by the Lord in this ministry as well.
I visited several believers either alone or with my wife. They invite us to visit them and they want to show their love for us by serving us food and sweets. We answered their questions, seeing how they are. We try to advise them. There is a family where the husband is disabled and his wife is very sick. Because of the humidity in their apartment, their carpet got dirty and began to have a bad smell. So, my wife and I cleaned their carpet and let it dry in the sun.
