In early 2023 HeartCry began partnering with a ministry focused on developing apps that promote Christian audiobooks and other sound resources in major world languages. The ministry began with Turkish-language content and has since expanded to include Arabic, Farsi, and Russian. These resources are translated, professionally recorded, and made accessible through language-specific apps, enabling easy access and sharing among Christians globally.
HeartCry supports the ministry through monthly financial contributions, strategic advice, and by connecting the ministry with international partners, publishers, and churches. Based out of Hope Baptist Church in Wake Forest, NC, the ministry operates under the guidance of its church elders and deacons. Paul Carrington leads the project, managing a global team that includes translators, audio producers, publishers, and app developers.”
Paul Carrington shares about the ministry:
“How do you reach the most unreached parts of the world with God’s word and sound teaching? Especially when many cultures are primarily auditory learners? There are entire populations still living in the valley of the shadow of death. There are places where churches, leaders and saints are hungry for solid teaching. Using technology, we are seeking to spread sound doctrine to these places. Broken into 3 categories (doctrine, Christian living and Church history) we’ve published hundreds of trustworthy resources in these languages and professionally audio-recorded them.
The books and resources are from trustworthy men down through the ages: John Calvin, Charles Spurgeon, R.C. Sproul, Paul Washer, Joel Beeke, J.C. Ryle, Martin Lloyd-Jones, Thomas Watson and others. Impactful biographies like Luther, Adoniram Judson, John Knox, Augustine, Lady Jane Grey, Raymond Lull and several more.
If you know people in these language groups, or missionaries laboring among them, please share these apps with them.”
