Peter is planting a church away from home in a difficult area where people are resistant to the Gospel. The influence of a strong Christian upbringing and four years in Bible college have given him a burning passion for serving God and preaching Christ.

Testimony of Conversion

My name is Peter Mang. I was born on May 3, 1991, into a Christian family. Though I knew about God, I was never sure of what will be my life after death. It was challenging for me. I still remembered in 2004; my Dad talked to me about the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross for a sinner like me. After realizing how sinful I was, I repented of my sins and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord. What a joy it was for me to become a child of God. I can remember wanting to know the word of God deeper ever since I was a high school student. I attended many conferences and all the more my heart was burning to become a missionary to a place where there is no missionary. After I graduated from high school, I asked my parents if I could study in Bible College, and they agreed.

During my four years at the Biblical School of Theology, the call of God was clear to me to be a missionary. As I learned the Bible more and more, the burden to fulfill the Great Commission and the lost grew more in my heart. After I finished Bible College, the Lord opened the door for me to go to a city where the people are uncivilized. But I knew it was God’s calling in my heart, so I decided to follow Him. Now I have been serving the Lord among these people since 2012. I have a small mission work three miles away from my house. By the grace of God, I enjoy serving my Savior in the ministry.
