Marian Vale is a Gypsy pastor who carries on a benevolent ministry to the village people. He writes this month:

My children, David and Rebeca, have seen to the children’s ministry in Fundeni and Pantelimon. They have started a 12-lesson Bible study with the children and three of them have started attending their programs. May God bless them!

I met several young people in Fundeni and talked to them from the Word of God. They listened to me and some of them even surrendered to God, but I think they are ashamed to come to church. I also talked to two young people in Pantelimon, but they have been approached by Jehovah’s witnesses. I had talked to them before and they had noticed that my preaching was different from that of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. I explained to them that the Jehovah’s witnesses even changed certain Bible passages and I encouraged them to come to church. We don’t have a full-time missionary in Pantelimon, so the Jehovah’s Witnesses do whatever they like there. I realized this at the beginning of this month, when I talked to a lady and she told me that there were two young ladies that visited her on a regular basis and talk to her about God. I realized those girls were Jehovah’s Witnesses. They also visited our church area and I found out this from the neighbors of our church.

One morning, in the second week, a man approached me on the internet and he told me he had been in hell. I didn’t talk to him too much but, in the evening, after the prayer time, I felt a spiritual attack. I told this to the believers and then my phone rang. It was that man’s wife. She told me that her husband had moments when he would change. I told that woman to come to our church with her husband on Sunday morning. She said she would.

The believers are faithful and they attend the worship services. There are several new persons attending the church. Sister Gabi, who has turned to the Lord, prayed that she would get baptized. I pray that the Lord would guide this ministry.

Don is serving as the HeartCry Coordinator for Eastern Europe. As an itinerant evangelist, his pulpit ministry is directed toward preaching on the inner life of the believer and the spiritual need of the lost.
