Tul began a church in his home village shortly after his conversion. He later went to Bible school in India and has now returned to Nepal to serve as a church planter and pastor.
In the grace of God, the weekly church services and cottage meetings are going well; we have started constructing a building for Sunday school. The children were having fellowship in the church’s kitchen room, which became quite congested. Because of this, we decided to make a small hall for Sunday school. Thanks be to God for supplying our needs for this project.
This month, I visited Ms. Chandra. She wanted to be baptized at our last baptismal service, but we did not baptize her because she had not shown evidence of salvation. My wife and I visited her and encouraged her to keep faith in the Lord and trust Him, because only Christ can give eternal life. She seems to be growing in knowledge and is still willing to be baptized in time. May God help her to believe in Him.
Ms. Sita, one of our members who lives near our house, has struggled with mental illness. Sita used to run away from home and was unable to sleep at night. So I brought her into our house; I prayed for her and counseled her from God’s Word and gave her medicine. In God’s grace, she has recovered! Praise the Lord for His grace in her life and for healing her!
I have started studying the book The Truth About Man. Chapter 1 taught that God created all things out of nothing according to His plan and for His glory and that God made man in His own image. This shows that God is sovereign in all things. Praise God for His wonderful works!
Please pray for Ms. Chandra and others who are interested in baptism, that God would guide them to know Him and believe in Him. Please pray for Sita’s health and her life in Christ. Pray also for my life and ministry.
