Ragunandam is serving as a church planter in Nepal, where he returned to serve full time in the ministry after studying at a Bible school for a year in India from 2003 to 2004.
Warm greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. In the month of May, I got sick and was unable to do my regular ministry. In the grace of God, Elder Dal helped me in this situation. He looked after the cottage meeting as well as some of the Saturday services. May God bless him. In the Lord’s grace, I am feeling better, though I am still receiving treatment.
Though I could not serve as I normally do, God helped me to study a book called Church Elders while I was on bed rest. I recognized several of my own weaknesses as I read this book, and I asked Him to guide me to be a better shepherd for His sheep. The book also helped me to understand better the characteristics of believers, which is very helpful to me in shepherding them. Thanks be to God for helping me to study, understand, and learn from this book.
One year ago, I shared the gospel with Mr. Pramash and his wife Ms. Vachani. In the grace of God, they were converted and have been growing in the Lord. In the month of April, they were baptized in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Thanks and glory be to God for bringing these two souls into His kingdom!
In June, we held a women’s program in our church. In this program, Ms. Rani (my daughter-in-law) and Ms. Hemlata taught from God’s Word. They taught on the true gospel, marriage and family, tithes and offerings, and other topics. The women were very happy to receive this teaching and to be able to fellowship with each other; they are requesting more such programs in coming days. May God supply our needs. We have begun planning the youth program for next year. May God help us with this, that the young people may know the Word of God and may live according to His words.
Once again, I would like to give thanks to God for His grace in my life and for helping me to recover from sickness and to continue to do the works to which He has called me. Thank you to HeartCry for your great support and prayer. May God bless you!
Please pray that we may indeed have a youth program next year. Pray for Mr. Pramash and his wife, for their life and growth in the Lord. Pray for my health and also the ministry that God has given to me.
