A Joyful Update from Eastern Europe

Posted December 25, 2013  by: Don Currin |0 Comments

Greetings, and Merry Christmas! I hope this update of the work in Eastern Europe will bring you joy, and encourage to continue the hard work you do there. Moldova and Ukraine Mission Tour During March 2013, we had our Moldavian missionaries for the HeartCry conference with Brother Conrad, and Jeremy Walker. We could not bring the missionaries from Ukraine, as the cost was quite high. So, I thought it would be good to visit them before the end of this year. The tour was a blessing, both ... Keep Reading

It is our hope and prayer that you and all those you love and hold dear are well! He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? (Romans 8:32) Recently, the Lord has given me more and more understanding of the need of proclaiming the suffering, death, and resurrection of His Son Jesus, through which God has remained righteous while saving the unrighteous (Romans 3:26). As I last wrote to you, I am teaching through t... Keep Reading

Gelu Ciorna reports that his son, George, who was born prematurely with multiple birth defects, is doing much better. There has been a huge improvement in his health as no more oxygen is needed and his lungs have been helped with medicine. In an email that we received this morning, Gelu said, "we are so thankful to God for His grace and tremendous power of healing. We continue to trust and seek His will for our lives and for our family. So thankful also for all our brothers and sisters who have... Keep Reading

News from the Netherlands - Jacques and Annette Brunt

Posted October 3, 2013  by: Paul Washer |0 Comments

Praise the Lord, for He is good, for his mercy endures forever (Psalm 118:1). This is what we want to share with you, not so much because of what God gives us, but primarily for Who He is!  We are also astonished by the care of the Lord for our lives.  There is so much for which to be thankful!  We have recently been blessed, personally, as a family, but also in our ministry. There are so many opportunities to share the Word that I often have to say 'no'.  Who would have ever... Keep Reading

Reaching the Rroma Communities

Posted October 3, 2013  by: Don Currin |0 Comments

At least once a month, our HeartCry missionaries in Romania will meet together in a designated region and team up for corporate outreach. This past month they targeted the Rroma people who according to Wikipedia constitute one of the largest minorities in Romania.  In the 2011 census, their population numbered 621,573 people, or 3.3% of the total population. The Rroma are Romania's most socially, economically and morally disadvantaged minority, with high illiteracy  and human trafficki... Keep Reading

The Lord continues to add to His body through Providence Church in Brasov, Romania. Recently, three young men followed the Lord in believer's baptism.  Ion Tomeci reports: On August 4, we celebrated the third baptism in our church. Three young men decided to confess publicly that Christ is their Lord, who changed their lives and saved them. One of them is our son, Flavius Tomeci, who turned 18 in June. His desire was to be baptized in our church. I thank God for His faithfulness towards ... Keep Reading

The Gospel Goes Forth!

Posted September 17, 2013  by: Holden Barry |0 Comments

Though brief, this is a wonderful account of how the Lord used Sorin Iordan to preach the gospel to a total of 1,400 people in the Gypsy community of Rosiori – all in just a few days. Truly the Lord delights in aiding His people to spread the gospel to the masses! The following was written by Brother Prodan concerning Sorin Iordan's eventful week:  MOLDOVA GYPSY MINISTRY – Sorin Iordan had a very unusual month. His fourteen year old niece died of leukymia, but before she ... Keep Reading

Update on Olga Ciorna and baby George

Posted August 27, 2013  by: Don Currin |0 Comments

The present health condition of baby George who was born premature at only 24 weeks to Olga and Gelu Ciorna remains unstable at this time. HeartCry received an update from Gelu yesterday informing us that the baby is still in need of more oxygen as from time to time there is a pause in his breathing for 10 or more seconds. He says that if this continues for another week that it will indicate that his lungs are not developing. Please continue to pray for their son. Gelu asked us also to pray for... Keep Reading
