Soul Winning with Alex Palade

I went to Ploiesti for an evangelistic event, but we didn’t receive approval to use a room in the university building. The students even had problems with the police when they went caroling in the campus. They were threatened and asked for approval from the university staff. The Lord provided a room for us for the evangelistic event through a young man who hadn’t worked for God as a student. He felt bad for not having shared the Gospel with his colleagues when he was a student. Over... Keep Reading

Please Pray for Emanuel Ivan

I have struggled with a liver infection since October 14th when I returned from a mission trip in Italy. This is why I had to stay in hospital for several weeks and take antibiotics. During all this time I waited for surgery, but God answered our prayers and the surgery was not necessary anymore. I continued with the antibiotics. Because of the situation I discovered that I also had gallstones. Now we pray that this will not involve surgery and that these stones will pass. On December 21st I wil... Keep Reading

Church Plant in Urziceni

Posted December 28, 2016  by: Don Currin |0 Comments

The weather is getting colder and people don’t go to the park much anymore. This is why I began to visit an area of our town, mainly with houses, in order to put in people’s mailboxes some Gospel tracts. Moreover, I tried to talk to people whenever possible. I remember visiting a family and they have been open to the Gospel. They asked many questions and I think they will attend the evangelistic event that we want to prepare for Christmas. My desire for this winter is to be able to p... Keep Reading

Serbans in Stoenesti

Posted December 28, 2016  by: Don Currin |0 Comments

We need to set our priorities according to God’s calling and not according to the emergencies that come up in ministry. Some brothers from Suceava visited us this month and we did street evangelism together and invited people to church. Many people accepted our invitation and came to church and listened to the Word of God. We pray that the Word would be fruitful in their lives. Brother Contiu also came here for one week and he did evangelistic visits in our mission area. We pray that the... Keep Reading

Prayers Appreciated for Filip Galateanu

Posted December 28, 2016  by: Don Currin |0 Comments

November was different from the rest of the months. First of all, Filip, our youngest son, had an appendicitis surgery. This was a very difficult situation. We don't have a pediatrician in our area so we had to wait for someone to come from Constanta. The situation became worse and worse and the surgery was difficult. We even had to buy medicines and to bring bed sheets from home. The recovery was also difficult, because this situation was not managed properly. All this time Cornelia had to stay... Keep Reading

Please pray for Marian as he is facing some health issues. He suffers from bad backaches and is unable to bend over to tie his shoelaces.  He reports:  "This month I focused mostly on strengthening the relationships among our church members. I tried to be close to them, to encourage them and to support them in every way possible. We decided to have a prayer meeting in the house of a brother in Carligul Mare. He works in the Police forces and told me that many times he is being despis... Keep Reading

At the age of 84, Stefan Gae continues to be steadfast in his ministry of preaching and teaching.   As a spiritual father, he is admired by numerous believers accross Romania. Praise God, the months of October and November have been full of wonderful things from the Lord. I would split these into ministry in the church and the literature ministry. MINISTRY IN THE CHURCH - "that I may be more passionate for the glory of God" By the grace of God, we have been received very warmly at Providence Baptist Church in Brasov and served faithfully by the leadership team. For about a year, my role in the local church consists of acclimating to the philosophy of ministry and of... Keep Reading

HeartCry Evangelistic Outreach in Stoenesti

Posted December 27, 2016  by: Don Currin |0 Comments

While participating in a HearyCry missionary evangelistic outreach, Costel shares his experience while serving with Missionary George Serban in Stoenesti: "We had some encouraging experienses when we saw people touched by the Word of God.  For instance, we talked to a man who was about 50 years of age. He seemed to be like stone in his response to the gospel.  Nothing seemed to touch his heart.  He had no feelings. Not even the fact that Jesus died for sinners seem to effect him.... Keep Reading
