I visited a lady who had breast cancer.  She prayed to receive the Lord. Her son has epilepsy. I could see on their faces how much sadness and bitterness were in their souls. I gave them a New Testament and urged them to read it. The mother wanted to give me money after I prayed for her. I thanked her and told her that she didn’t have to give me money, because the Lord Jesus gave us salvation for free, as a gift. Please pray that the Lord would comfort these persons!... Keep Reading

Extending God's Forgiveness

The following account took place while Brother Sorin Iordan was involved in hospital visitation:  I visited Mr. Marmureanu in hospital. Three other patients were in the same room with him and I asked if I could read something from the Bible. They agreed and I read John 3:16. Then I explained to them that people need forgiveness and God is the only one who can give it, because He loves us so much. When I finished, Mr. Marmureanu and another patient, Stelian, received the Lord. Marius and Vi... Keep Reading

The names in the following true story from one of our HeartCry missionaries have been left out to protect the identity of those in the account. What you are about to read regularly occurs in Eastern Europe. Please pray for wisdom for our missionaries as they preach the gospel and counsel people with biblical truth. About a year ago, a man and his wife moved to Norway to find work. They wanted to save money and buy a house. But after they moved they started making small compromises. After arriv... Keep Reading

Sowing Gospel Seed

Alex Palade is a conscientious soul winner.  He never resorts to a "canned" presentation when sharing the good news.  The following are a few of his accounts in engaging people with the gospel this past month: "I participated in an evangelistic event for international students in Ploiesti. Fifteen African and three Romanian students participated in this event. Before the meeting, I talked to Catalin and he told me he was an Orthodox.  When he told me what he believed, it turned o... In preparation for the new school year, Dana L. relates her vision: This month we started thinking about the new school year. There have been very encouraging things that happened last school year such as we can see growth in some students, we are thankful for the relationships we have with the graduates, we did a lot of outreach in the campus and we had wonderful discussions while spreading the Gospel. We want to focus more on motivating and training the students in evangelistic relationships... Keep Reading

Pray for the Prodans

Posted July 29, 2015  by: Don Currin |0 Comments

We would appreciate prayer for Sorin and Trish Prodan. A few weeks ago, their second son, Lucas, wrapped his small hand around a hair curling iron and sustained second to third degree burns. After rushing him to a local hospital they were informed that the facility did not have the proper medical resources to treat him. The Prodans then rushed him to a state hospital for help.  Once arriving at the medical facility they grew very concerned over the uncleanness of the environment and the la... Keep Reading

He also shares with us some of what the church has been seeing in God's Word over the past month.
