How Great Thou Art! Spring has begun. Flowers, plants, and trees are budding. The fresh green of spring testifies of new life and points us directly to the majesty and glory of our God and Creator. It directed us to Psalm 104: 1, 19, 24, 33, and 34 “Bless the LORD, O my soul! O LORD my God, You are very great; You are clothed with splendor and majesty... He made the moon for seasons; the sun knows the place of its setting... O LORD, how many are Your works! In wisdom You have made them al... Keep Reading

A Scandal of Epidemic Proportion

Posted February 26, 2014  by: Don Currin |0 Comments

The biblical gospel continues to incite hostility in the world.  Its scandalous content arouses bitter opposition from both the religious public and global populace. Two aspects of the gospel that has provoked increased antagonism are the identity and exclusivity of Christ. Most men don’t have a problem with Jesus as long as He is reduced to a moral teacher or miracle worker, but if His deity is introduced, the believer has a battle on their hands.  For to declare that Jesus... Baptism Big in Eastern Europe

Posted January 15, 2014  by: Don Currin |0 Comments

Unlike most evangelical churches in North America, baptism is tremendously significant among the saints of God and the secular culture in Eastern Europe.  When one identifies with Jesus Christ through the ordinance of baptism, he is publically declaring that he has died to the old life.  From that day forward he openly bears the name repenter, which is a fitting title for those who are new creatures in Christ. Often they are publically scorned, reproached and alienated by their relativ... Keep Reading

A Joyful Update from Eastern Europe

Posted December 25, 2013  by: Don Currin |0 Comments

Greetings, and Merry Christmas! I hope this update of the work in Eastern Europe will bring you joy, and encourage to continue the hard work you do there. Moldova and Ukraine Mission Tour During March 2013, we had our Moldavian missionaries for the HeartCry conference with Brother Conrad, and Jeremy Walker. We could not bring the missionaries from Ukraine, as the cost was quite high. So, I thought it would be good to visit them before the end of this year. The tour was a blessing, both ... Keep Reading

It is our hope and prayer that you and all those you love and hold dear are well! He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? (Romans 8:32) Recently, the Lord has given me more and more understanding of the need of proclaiming the suffering, death, and resurrection of His Son Jesus, through which God has remained righteous while saving the unrighteous (Romans 3:26). As I last wrote to you, I am teaching through t... Keep Reading
