I passed out New Testaments and Christian literature as I visited this month. During my visits, I also met two teachers and talked to them about different things such as the educational system in our country and the changes that take place.  They attended the Orthodox church and knew the creed. I started talking to them about God and we got to the problem of sin. I asked them how they believed that all those ethical problems in our society could be avoided. They admitted that God was the an... Keep Reading

Gypsy missionary, Tony Anghel, while finishing his home in Strehaia is spending more time connecting with the Rhoma people in his community. He writes:  I’ve also met with a family that has recently come back from France. They wanted to be baptized, so I did my best to prepare them for the ordinance and baptized them. We invited many people to participate to this special event. We went on the street and gave out invitations and invited my fellow pastors to help. A good friend of mine... Keep Reading

The Lord is my strengths, whom shall I fear?! We live in a fallen world, very corrupted and hateful of heavenly values. We constantly face a form of persecution from the ungodly people around us, but this is a good sign in that we belong to a different kingdom. It is a testimony of us being in the world, but not belonging to it. The last month was a month of changes in Eastern Europe. Romania and Moldova went through elections. Romania choose a new Parliament, and Moldova had presidential elec... Keep Reading

Through God’s grace, at the beginning of December, I was invited to serve the Lord, along with a group of brothers from our church, in a Rroma church in Linz, Austria. We had the grace to serve the Lord there and to see Him bring people to repentance. After the preaching of the Gospel, several persons decided to accept the Lord as their personal Savior. Many people came up front, crying and confessing their sins and we prayed for them. We had moments of grace and blessing during this evang... Keep Reading

Prayers continue to be appreciated for our sister, Ruxi Vandici.  Ruxi is still battling the Lymes disease that she contracted a few years ago.  Also, she is caring for her aging parents who have their own unique health needs.  In addition to these issues that deplete her physical energies, she is recovering from a bad case of the flu.  This month, she reports:  Looking back I am very thankful that even though my ministry time has decreased so much in the last three yea... We believe that a strong church is based on strong families. We wish to have such families in our church, so we decided to have a Bible study with two couples that got married this summer. We are teaching them now, hoping that they will be able to teach others after a while. We meet every Saturday to approach different subjects on family life. Ani has a separate meeting with the girls and I have a meeting with their husbands. I can see great potential in these two families. First of all, I am gl... Keep Reading

Soul Winning with Alex Palade

I went to Ploiesti for an evangelistic event, but we didn’t receive approval to use a room in the university building. The students even had problems with the police when they went caroling in the campus. They were threatened and asked for approval from the university staff. The Lord provided a room for us for the evangelistic event through a young man who hadn’t worked for God as a student. He felt bad for not having shared the Gospel with his colleagues when he was a student. Over... Keep Reading

I have struggled with a liver infection since October 14th when I returned from a mission trip in Italy. This is why I had to stay in hospital for several weeks and take antibiotics. During all this time I waited for surgery, but God answered our prayers and the surgery was not necessary anymore. I continued with the antibiotics. Because of the situation I discovered that I also had gallstones. Now we pray that this will not involve surgery and that these stones will pass. On December 21st I wil... Keep Reading

Church Plant in Urziceni

The weather is getting colder and people don’t go to the park much anymore. This is why I began to visit an area of our town, mainly with houses, in order to put in people’s mailboxes some Gospel tracts. Moreover, I tried to talk to people whenever possible. I remember visiting a family and they have been open to the Gospel. They asked many questions and I think they will attend the evangelistic event that we want to prepare for Christmas. My desire for this winter is to be able to p... Keep Reading

Serbans in Stoenesti

We need to set our priorities according to God’s calling and not according to the emergencies that come up in ministry. Some brothers from Suceava visited us this month and we did street evangelism together and invited people to church. Many people accepted our invitation and came to church and listened to the Word of God. We pray that the Word would be fruitful in their lives. Brother Contiu also came here for one week and he did evangelistic visits in our mission area. We pray that the... Keep Reading
