Mission Report for September to November
Greeting I want to greet you in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, by his grace alone we can be in the ministry. I am very grateful for the support that I received from you. I pray for you always and you have been a great blessing in my ministry. Having partners from different country is truly the amazing work of God.
At the moment I am pastoring a small church in a small village called Pha Yung Hlah in Myanmar. Most of the villagers are Buddhist and we have some nominal Christian as well. Basically I am working among the Ashu-Chin people. We have twelve Christian believers and they are growing in the Lord as I continue to feed them from the word of God over the last two years. They are also very energetic for soul winning and outreach ministry.
Most of my members come from uneducated background, nevertheless, they have a heart for missions. Every Wednesday night, Saturday night, and Sunday morning and afternoon we have our worship service. It is not easy to have that schedule because several of the members need to work for daily provision. But they have been faithfully attending the service and I praise the Lord for that.
Over the last two months I was able to share the good news to four families and personally evangelize five people as I invited them to come to the church. Because all the people are not at their houses in the day time-they are famers and they need to work outside-I try my best to visit them and invite to worship with us.
1. Please pray for the growth of Christians here in Phayung Hlah Village
2. Ten souls to be saved in this 2016 among the people in the village
