The following report is from a dear pastor/teacher /mission director that we partner with in Myanmar. We are thankful for his labors and faithfulness to the Lord. For security reasons, names are withheld.
Seasonal Greetings from Myanmar. I thank God that I have received moving helps from you in time of great physical needs. Thank you very much for your support that covered the costs of our two medical trips to Thailand in the past month. My wife's tests results are normal. She continues to take medicine for at least a year. Her condition is rapidly getting better in over a month. Thank you so much for your prayer and financial support towards the expenses.
During November, we had our AGM and pastoral training in which I lectured on "Healthy Church," getting helps from Pastor Mark Dever's book, which caught attention of many church leaders. Due to my sickness and our medical trips to Thailand, I had less preaching and no visiting to churches in the past month. Nevertheless, I could manage to teach at our Bible school when possible. Besides, I had some significant good times with my family.
As Mission Director, I currently oversee at least eight mission fields in this region where we sent out evangelists to animist villages. They live among them, preaching the Gospel, with hope of founding biblical churches. Our churches are committed to giving their salaries for at least three years. In addition, I am also responsible as Director, in terms of planning and fundraising, for running the M. Bible Training Centre. It was through this training centre that the door to China outreach was open.
The needs are great. So are the opportunities. Moreover, please pray for my China trip in two weeks time. In addition, pray for the translation project too. By the special grace of God, I have been able to do well in all that God has entrusted to me. Thank you for your partnership. God bless you more "so that..., you may abound in every good work." (2 Cor. 9:8).
Merry Christmas to you!
