I, Dhal, a servant in the army of Christ have been praying for you all and for your ministries. I am eager to learn more- and I want to grow in God’s Word, so I may understand God’s truth and be able to teach my people in the church. I recognize that I am a slow person in understanding. I am doing my best to learn, but it is difficult to understand and learn Biblical doctrines. I am weak, but I am working hard and praying to understand His truth. I am thankful to God for leading me. In the grace of God, I am improving. Please do pray for me, that I would not give up, but continue my studies and ministry.
Our group pf pastors have been learning about how to prepare sermons from the book of Philippians. Brother Dul is teaching us how to prepare an exegetical sermon. This method is very difficult for me. I had no idea about studying the context, sentence structure, meaning of words, grammar, or how to outline the sermon. It is a good method. Now, by the grace of God, I am learning this method and putting forth much effort to understand. May God help me to prepare a good sermon each week, and may the believers grow strong in Christ through the messages preached.
I am also reading the book “Church Membership.” Many times, I had read this book but it too is difficult to understand and apply in Nepal. All of the pastors and their wives have been studying it together over the last month. It has been very helpful for me to understand this book. I am thankful to my co-workers for our walking together in His truth. Still, I have to learn many things. May God help me every day to grow in His grace and knowledge. Though we are less in numbers, we are worshiping Him with spirit and in truth.
I would like to give thanks to God for His guidance and strength in my life. I would like to give thanks to HeartCry and my fellow workers for your great help in my life. I am praying for you all. Please do pray for me. May God bless you.
