Posted March 12, 2017  by: Jeff S. |0 Comments

Greeting to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. In the grace of God, we all are well. In the grace of God the weekly church services and cottage meetings are going well. I am teaching them the word of God and encouraging them to trust in Him for eternal life. Though the church is not growing in numbers, they are growing in God's word. I am visiting to Mr. Binday. He discontinued the church services about one month ago. So I visited him continually, and told him to remember the work of Chr... Keep Reading

Outreach Efforts in Vietnam

Dear HeartCry I sincerely thank you because you have been praying for us and for the work of God in Vietnam to open new Churches for the worthy Name of God. I thank HeartCry for your interest in our family. Last month God gave my family peace. Besides having to do the work of God outside of the home, I also had time for my family to help shuttle my child to school, help my wife cook, wash dishes, do laundry, chat with my child, help her read the Bible, and to pray for her. My family is the most... Keep Reading

Greeting to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. In the grace of God the weekly church services and cottage meetings are good. I am visiting with believers and guiding them in God's words. In this month, my mother in-law passed way. She was Hindu and her funeral was done according to Hindu customs. I went to her funeral and comforted the family members. It was my great privilege to be able to also share the good news to the family, relatives, and the village people. I also got opportunity ... Keep Reading

Dear Partner in Myanmar Ministry, We have zeal and when things are not happened according to our plan and prayer it is easy to be discouraged. We realized that ministry is not only ours, as 1Cor 3:9 says, “For we are laborers together with God.” There is God’s part also. We see God’s mighty hands in our ministries, for which we are grateful. May I share with you some highlights during the past two months. Myanmar has officially 135 different ethnic groups and the majorit... Keep Reading

In the grace of God the weekly church services and cottage meetings are going well. The baptism classes are continuing. God may help the people to understand about Him, and the meaning of Baptism. In this month I went to visit Mrs. Sunmaya. I went to visit her because she was not continuing the fellowship since a month. Because she shifted in a new house and there is no proper windows and doors in the house. I encouraged her to attend the church services and told the importance of her relations... Keep Reading

Chandra C. (Nepal): Open and Closed Doors

Posted February 28, 2017  by: Jeff S. |0 Comments

In the grace of God the weekly services and cottage meetings are going well. In this month I evangelized two brothers, Mr. Ram P. and Mr. Lalit C. These brothers came to construct the road, and they stayed in my house. This was a great privilege to show hospitality and also to share the good news with them. While I was sharing about Christ, Mr. Ram P. told that he used to attend church services in Kathmandu for 2 months, but he was opposed by his wife and family. Because of this he left the chur...
