This summer, our focus has been on reaching the children and teenagers, we organized VBS camps in four villages. Approximately 300 children joined us, mostly from the unbelieving background families. All the children learned about God, the Bible, our world, and salvation. Two students (Ananad and Rakesh) from a... Keep Reading

An update provided by HeartCry missionary Rema S*... Local Church Over the last three months our local church has been learning from the books of Haggai and Ephesians on Sundays. Our weekly Bible study, where we are working through Romans, was on a break for the winter, but resumed in March. In the weeks leading up to Good Friday and Easter we had meetings in the houses of people who attend our church. We hope that the seed planted during this time will bring fruit in the days to come. Traini... Keep Reading

The Life and Doctrine of the Apostle Paul

A HeartCry conference was recently held in North India with the theme, "The Life and Doctrine of the Apostle Paul." Many times in Scripture the Apostle Paul exhorted believers in ways such as, "Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ" (1 Corinthians 11:1). Consider some of the following passages: I do not write these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children. For if you were to have countless tutors in Christ, yet you would not have many fathers, for in Christ Je... Keep Reading

We praise the Lord for keeping us safe and sound in the high mountains! Day 1 - We started our journey from our place and arrived in the evening at our destination. We washed our feet and hands with hot water, and got some relief, as we were tired of the long journey in the jeep. Some believers and new contacts gathered in Mr. Gideon's house. Brother Jude shared about how to understand the Gospel and believe in Christ Jesus, and how to show it to the people who come into our contact everyday. ... Keep Reading

India Trip - February 2013

I want to praise God for a very fruitful and encouraging trip to India these past two weeks. I just returned from a one-week visit to North India, followed by a one-week stay in South India, where HeartCry held a training conference for pastors in each location. Our missionary partners in North India are faithfully laboring for the sake of the Gospel in a heavily unreached area. In fact, only 0.1% of the population of this particular state of India professes Christianity (Operation World, 7th E... Keep Reading

Celebrating Reformation Day It was good to have about 30 evangelists and pastors get together on the Reformation Day (October 31). We had planned to share the life of Martin Luther and explain briefly about the Five Solas. A pastor friend (Moses E.) spoke about the life of Dr. Martin Luther, who posted 95 theses on the church wall of Wittenberg, Germany. The pastor also explained “Sola Scriptura” and basically shared “We as leaders must get back to the Bible.” I spoke o... Keep Reading

This report was written by a young lady from the U.S. who visited with Ranjit K. and his family for several weeks in North India. Jai Masih ki (praise the Lord) friends, What a privilege it is to serve the Lord with you. To give is truly better than to receive; we find no greater joy than in giving ourselves to the Lord for him to use as he wills. It is in our posture of humility that God loves to work and make himself known. Brother Ranjit has asked me to write this update from the perspecti... Keep Reading
