Dear friends, We thank God for the many things He is doing among us here in Kenya: 1. The baptisms of Sam (a new member) and Grace (Pastor Paul Onyango’s daughter) have given excitement to the church, and we continue to pray that the two will grow in faith. Sam’s wife Jacqueline is not frequent in coming to church on Sundays, and my wife Melly and other ladies in the church have been encouraging her to consider this as they share the Gospel with her. Work Among the Lozi

A few years ago, HeartCry sent out the only western missionaries we have worked with to the Lozi people in the Western Province of Zambia. The Reece brothers lived and worked among the Lozi for approximately three years before being led to return to the U.S. Their involvement with this rural tribe helped to fuel a desire in Kabwata Baptist to reach out to this region with church planting efforts. Jacob in Zambia: Snapshot of a Church Plant

Jacob Mwila is a church planter sent out of Central Baptist Church in Chingola to Solwezi, an area in the northern part of Zambia. Solwezi is the last provincial capital in Zambia to receive a reformed Baptist church. Jacob has been laboring here for approximately one year and his work presents us with a clear picture of what church planting in Zambia, with its challenges and struggles, looks like....
